Last year I had a lot of fun making seed packet journals. If you’ve never seen one, they’re mini journals that slide into a seed packet style jacket. I use them as junk journal inserts and as mini journals. Today I’ve got a fun step-by-step tutorial on how to make them in this video tutorial.
Here’s what one looks like:
(Transparency note: I often link to resources in my blog posts that I believe are useful and these are sometimes affiliate links. That means if you choose to purchase through my links, I may make a small commission with no extra charge to you.)
And here’s how it slides into the back:
Seed Packet Journal Supplies
You’ll need a few supplies to get started if you want to make them:
- Card Stock – I used 60lb off-white for this tutorial
- Glue (I use this art glitter glue you can get on Amazon)
- Waxed thread
- Seed Packet Journal Kit (*optional if you want to make them exactly the way they are here) or the blank template in the Resource Library (see below for instructions on how to join if you’re not a member yet!)
- Score Board (*optional, if you don’t have one I recommend the We R Memory Keeper version – Amazon)
